Celebration of Joy

Children Ministry of the House of Bread Church has conducted an extraordinary event

Summer - time of bright sunshine, colorful butterflies, ice cream and, of course, holidays. For children the word "vacation" is synonymous with the holiday, but if the last day of school to turn into an unforgettable event - then it would be a real, amazing .. Holiday, but with a capital letter.

On the last Sunday of the first summer month, June 24, Children Ministry of the House of Bread Church has conducted an extraordinary event dedicated to the end of the academic year in Sunday school, and also due to Graduation of many of its students.

As the Sunday school’s director, Oksana Kvaterchuk told, each of the groups (which are divided by age), had a separate program. Those, who have finished the preschool, had a real graduation. That is, all children who have turned five years old, were dressed in the appropriate hats with tassels, they were given official certificates and received their first Bible.

In the Sunday School, children study up to 12 years, and for many kids that Sunday was not just the last day of the school year, but it also meant the graduation day. Thus, for them a barbecue was organized, as well as gifts, greetings, wishes from the teachers, and of course, certificates of graduation.

This was a double celebration - for all students Sunday School of the House of Bread Church that day was astounding and delightful surprise. It brought a lot of joy in the form of gifts, various games and competitions, refreshments and just a jolly mood for the whole summer.

"We wanted the children, going on vacation, missed the Sunday School and gaining the new strength, returned to us with the great joy ", said Olga Romanuk, a teacher at the school. While youngsters and older children were celebrating their graduation, other students also had the party with the tents with ice cream, different types of entertainment, contests with prizes and other activities. Of course, children are very different - some prefer a calm, quiet games and creative doings, and others are interested in giving away all their energy in the active and mobile competitions. Thus, for a more relaxed kids were tents where they could do a variety of crafts, and for the more active - water sports, Jumping Houses and other entertainment.

"We have been preparing for this day for two months, a lot of work has been done. Each teacher knew for what he is responsible, we informed the parents, have prepared a variety of ads to let people know about the upcoming event ", Olga added.

The party is over, balloons dismantled, ice cream eaten, but the events of that day will be remembered by both children and their parents for a long time. And while their students rest, teachers are gaining new forces and fresh ideas that in September the Sunday School once again opened its doors to everyone who want to study there.
