Ministry to orphans
Our goal – to love and care for orphans.
If you have enough love and warmth, this trip to the orphanage will leave a permanent imprint in your life. Every child, who ends up parentless, is in need of love, care, a good example of friendship, all at a deficiency in their life.
You can become a part of this project by visiting the orphanage this summer.
Short overview of the trip:
This year, the team will minister in the southern part of Ukraine and in the territory of children’s camp for orphans in Karpatian’ mountains. We will fellowship with children residing in the territory of the orphanage, and will take direct part in the life of Christian "Friends Club".
Destination: Southern Ukraine, Karpat
When: July 3 - July 20, 2009
For whom: children, teenagers, handicap children.
Where: orphanages, children’s handicap homes, children’s camps.
Finances: $ 2,000
The amount accounts for: financial assistance to support the ministry, food, lodging, flights to Ukraine.
Participant’s age: 18-32 years
Rehabilitation center "Republic Pilgrim"
Charitable fund "Pilgrim" in Mariupol, along with "Good Changes" church, is realizing and managing the largest rehabilitation project on the territory of Ukraine for adults and adolescents, who have a drug dependency. These are children of basements and streets, the vast majority of whom are under real and often very strong drug addiction. Charity fund efforts affects people who are in prisons, and in Tuberculosis hospitals. Also, active work with disabled children, as well as deaf people.
Short overview of the trip:
This year the team will work in children’s and adult rehabilitation centers of "Good Changes" church and will take direct part in Sunday services… Participation in charity events and social work in the city, prayers, meetings, teaching in classes, personal evangelism in the city.
