"In the beginning was the Word, and by it everything that exists came into existence".

This word fell on ground, that was prepared by God, that was able to receive it and bring fruit. Eight years ago a thought appeared in the heart of Alexander Shevchenko, that was ordinary in the sense that thousands like it existed, but it was this thought in particular that was a word from God, through which everything came into existence.

The idea was simple, just like the Gospel. It was to show God to the world, presenting facts of the greatness and beauty of the works of God before the face of every person. All that Alexander did in the beginning was to collect unusual testimonies about people who realistically came into contact with the powers of the spiritual world, supernatural happenings and miracles, physical healings of crippled human bodies, the journeying of the spirit during a clinical death and many others.

During the course of these years the studio of the program "UGOL" has visited many remarkable people, whose lives are a great proof of Gods omnipotence and the absolute sovereignty of God over the devil.

Today millions of people in dozens of countries across the world have an opportunity to view our programs. Not counting the fact, that each day more than one hundred thousand cassettes in many countries of the former Soviet Union, Canada, Germany, Korea and the USA are sent out.

In 1998 God began to call Alexander to a slightly different type of ministry – it was a radio show on audio cassettes. It was very intimidating to begin, due to the fact that today on the Christian market there is an enormous selection of literature, video and audio cassettes. It took two years to conquer uncertainty and to submit to the call of the Lord.

Today more than 1400 families in the USA receive cassettes of the radio program "UGOL" monthly.

The ministry "UGOL" works with churches and missionary organizations outside of denominational boundaries.

Our plans our expansive. The main goal is to continue to serve the Slavic people with the word of God, utilizing all sources of mass information.

Our goal – is to enter into each home, because God’s goal – is to enter into each heart.

If you are a prayer warrior and God has given you a burden to lift ministries up through prayer then be faithful to the call of the Holy Spirit. You will become witnesses of the greatness of Gods salvation in the lives of thousands and even millions of people.

Why is the program named "UGOL"?

"UGOL" (corner) – is a dead end. One of the best places for God to speak to you is when difficult circumstances drive you into the "UGOL". It is in that very place that a person turns to face truth.

"UGOL" – is a geometric shape. It is the main detail in any form of construction. Christ is called the "Cornerstone" in Gods construction. From here the name of the program is derived.
